EU Ambassadors Visit North Darfur to Monitor Internationally Funded Peace and Stability Projects
A delegation of European Union Ambassadors visited North Darfur State to monitor the implementation of activities funded by the United Nations Darfur Peace and Stability Fund, the German Organization, and implemented by the Al-Rayyan Organization for Social Development. During the visit, the delegation reviewed the progress of ongoing field activities and assessed their contribution to promoting peace, stability, social cohesion, and improved livelihoods for targeted communities across North Darfur. The delegation also received detailed briefings on project implementation mechanisms, key achievements, operational challenges, and the measures being taken to ensure the sustainability and long-term impact of the interventions. The visit forms part of the regular monitoring and evaluation process carried out by international partners to assess project outcomes, strengthen cooperation with implementing organizations, and support sustainable development and peacebuilding efforts across the Darfur region.
