Football matches are among the activities included in the Peacebuilding and Peaceful Coexistence project among communities, implemented by Al-Rayan Organization for Social Development in partnership with the German Organization for Work in Al-Za'ah, and supported by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The activity aimed to connect youth from the project's targeted areas, fostering social cohesion, reconciliation, and peacebuilding among them. The desired objective of the aforementioned activity has been successfully achieved.
