WFP and Partners Deliver Food Assistance to More Than 14,000 Residents and Internally Displaced People in Rural El Fasher

As part of ongoing humanitarian efforts to strengthen food security and respond to urgent humanitarian needs, the World Food Programme (WFP), in partnership with the German Organization and in collaboration with the Al Rayan Organization for Social Development, distributed in-kind food assistance to resident and internally displaced communities across several areas of rural El Fasher, North Darfur State.
The intervention reached 14,244 beneficiaries, helping vulnerable households improve their access to essential food supplies and strengthening their resilience amid the ongoing humanitarian crisis.

161 sacks of lentils
163 jerrycans of cooking oil
34 sacks of salt
Kargo Area

The distribution covered three community councils.

Impact
