Al-Rayan Social Development Organization Implements Food Assistance Distribution Project in Khartoum Jadeed Cluster, Saraf Omra Locality

On 27 July 2026, Al-Rayan Social Development Organization (RSDO) implemented a Food Assistance Distribution Project in the Khartoum Jadeed Cluster of Saraf Omra Locality, as part of its ongoing humanitarian efforts to support the most vulnerable households and strengthen food security in communities affected by the humanitarian situation.
The activity was carried out in partnership with the United Nations World Food Programme (WFP) and with support from Welthungerhilfe (WHH). The distribution targeted eligible households in accordance with established humanitarian standards, contributing to the alleviation of living hardships and improving access to essential food assistance for the most vulnerable groups.
The event was attended by a number of community leaders and representatives of Al-Rayyan Social Development Organization, who emphasized the importance of sustaining humanitarian interventions and strengthening collaboration among partners to ensure the timely delivery of assistance to beneficiaries. They also highlighted the role of such initiatives in promoting humanitarian solidarity and supporting the stability and resilience of local communities.
Al-Rayan Social Development Organization continues to implement humanitarian relief and development programs in partnership with humanitarian organizations and supporting agencies, reaffirming its commitment to serving affected communities and improving the quality of life for the most vulnerable populations.
