As part of its humanitarian efforts to strengthen food security and support crisis-affected communities, Al-Rayan Organization for Social Development (RSD), in partnership with the World Food Programme (WFP) and Welthungerhilfe (WHH), implemented a General Food Assistance (GFA) distribution in Alsayah Area, Alsayah Locality, North Darfur State. The distribution targeted host communities and internally displaced persons (IDPs) across 10 village councils, benefiting a total of 4,916 people. The intervention aimed to provide essential food assistance to vulnerable families and improve food security in the area. The distributed food commodities included: 800 bags of sorghum 164 bags of lentils 48 bags of salt This humanitarian intervention demonstrates the commitment of Al-Rayan Organization for Social Development and its partners to supporting vulnerable communities, reducing the impact of the humanitarian crisis, and strengthening food security and resilience for affected families across North Darfur State.
